U.S. Census Bureau - Headquarters Campus Commissioning

Heery, in joint venture, is providing commissioning and construction management for a new 1.5 million SF headquarters complex for the U.S. Census Bureau that will consolidate 6,000 employees. The third largest project in dollar amount handled by GSA’s Public Building Service, National Capital Region, it received a citation for Design Excellence and LEED Silver Certification.
Heery commissioned the following systems:
- Chilled water systems (4200 ton)
- VAV air systems
- Data center cooling
- Emergency power (2 MW)
- Normal power
- Fire alarm
- Security
