Heery was commissioned by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to provide full architectural and engineering services including programming, planning, design, systems engineering and construction administration services for the $10 million renovation of Rosenau Hall within the School of Public Health. The five-story, 120,000 SF facility was originally constructed in 1952 and serves the functional requirements of the School of Public Health.
The project encompasses the comprehensive renovation of major building systems including new HVAC, plumbing and electrical distribution systems. Also, new program space will be constructed concentrating mainly on new office space, administration functions and dry laboratory work areas.
