Spokane International Airport TRACE Project
Spokane, Washington
Heery provided construction management services for the Spokane International Airport Terminal, Rotunda, and Concourse “C” enhancements (TRACE) project. The TRACE project involved construction of substantial modification to the existing 40-year old structure with significant new construction, including relocation of the passenger screening area, conversion of the existing rotunda into an interior plaza; adjustments to the public spaces to improve interior pedestrian flow, relocation of the police department and police dispatch offices, creation of a meet/greet area and expansion of the Horizon Air holding room area in concourse C.
“[Heery]’s depth of knowledge in both design and construction were key factors in development of the design documents, and in the overall success of these two ‘mission critical’ projects.” –Neal Sealock, Director, Spokane International Airport
Heery also provided construction management for a demolition project to remove seven existing structures that impacted the line-of-sight requirements for the new air traffic control tower (ATCT) at the Spokane airport.
Once the existing facilities were removed, the area was repaved into hardstand airport parking spaces.
Since the completion of TRACE, Heery has also provided construction management services for a new business park warehouse, multiple building demolition projects, main terminal roofing replacement constructability reviews, and various roadway projects.
