Songdo International City

Songdo City, Incheon, Korea

Heery is leading the construction management team for four projects totally $1.2 billion in construction within the New Songdo International City, South Korea. Songdo will be the first “new” city in the world designed and planned as an international business district. When construction is completed in 2020, the city will be home to 252,000 people. Heery is working for Songdo ICD, a Joint Venture between Gale International, a large New York based developer, and Korean mega-corporation POSCO.

Heery is managing the projects listed below totaling 57 residential buildings and 137 villas.

  • Block D13/14 Residential Projects—2.1 million SF including eight high- and low-rise residential towers.
  • Block D20/21 Residential Projects—2.8 million SF including 36 high and low-rise towers accommodating a fitness center, elderly center, golf driving range, community center, and retail.
  • Block D23 Mixed Use Residential Project—2 million SF including three towers on a three-story plinth.
  • Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course—The 18-hole golf course includes three lakes, a 188,800 SF club house and 137-unit villas spread over 240 acres.
