Skyline Hospital In-Patient Care Addition

Skyline Hospital selected Heery to provide design services for a new inpatient care addition. The addition will provide 20 new private rooms for in-patients and three Labor / Delivery / Recovery / Postpartum rooms for obstetrics. Connecting to the existing hospital, the addition will house a new imaging center and emergency room waiting room. The hospital’s master plan allows for internal separation from the public and space for staff/patient movement throughout the facility.
Heery’s services have grown to include project management through construction including assisting with the GC/CM application and selection process.
Constructed in 1952, Skyline Hospital is a Washington State Public Hospital District serving western Klickitat County and eastern Skamania County. Designated as a Critical Access Hospital with 25 acute care beds, Skyline’s 100-member staff provides acute care, obstetrics, surgery, cardio-pulmonary, radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, pharmacy and emergency services.
