SITA

SITA is the worlds leading service provider of IT business solutions and communication services to the air transport industry. With over 55 years experience, SITA is dedicated to providing the air transport industry with the information and communications technology it needs to operate seamlessly around the world.  Heery has been working with SITA on various projects at its regional office located in north Atlanta since 2001. 

Initially, SITA retained Heery to develop corporate office workplace standards along with a design concept package for space planning, finishes and furniture in response to SITA’s desire to develop a new corporate image.  Once the initial design concepts were developed, Heery was also hired to provide services for programming in an effort to reduce SITA’s leased square footage from 135,000 SF to 100,000 SF.  From the programming information, Heery developed multiple test fit scenarios to determine the best use of the floors that SITA occupied, which floors to return to the landlord, and pricing options for each scenario. 

In addition to creating a new corporate image, the overarching objective was to create a work environment that would enhance employee morale and retention as well as attract new talented staff.  Construction documents were prepared and move management services were provided for an eight-phase move scheduled over seven months.

Since this initial project, Heery has provided design services for many other smaller projects to accommodate the growth SITA has incurred and made modifications to existing areas to address the ever changing space needs of various departments and their specific projects.
