Seattle-Tacoma International Airport - Car Rental Facility

Heery is currently providing project management and LEED certification coordination for the new $200 million, 1.4 million SF consolidated car rental facility remotely located.
The facilily will be located on a 35-55 acre site and will accommodate as many as 12 full-service rental car agencies. The design includes customer service areas, short-term vehicle staging areas, ready/return spaces and a quick turnaround (QTA) facility for fueling, washing and light vehicle maintenance. A common shuttle bus system will transfer customers to and from the airport.
The Port of Seattle has selected the rental car facility as its pilot project for sustainable development practices to set the tone for the upcoming design and construction projects at the airport and seaport.
