Ronald Reagan Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse

The Ronald Reagan Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse were designed to accommodate the projected growth of the federal courts in the Santa Ana, California area through 2021. The 602,000 GSF, 10-story, high-security structure includes a complex of 29 courtrooms for the 14th District Court, bankruptcy and magistrate courts, judges’ chambers, clerks’ offices, jury rooms, conference rooms, libraries, dining facilities, several federal executive tenants agency offices, a penthouse, retail space and two levels of below-grade parking for 166 cars. Heery (as the JCM Group) provided full construction management services for the construction of this high-profile project, including design document review, cost estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and construction contract administration.
