Oregon State Capitol Restoration

Heery provided quality assurance/project management services to the State Legislature associated with the $34 million renovation of the Senate and House areas of the State Capital Building. The improvements included a complete architectural renovation of the building’s interior, including the replacement and improvements to the following building systems; heating/ventilation/air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, elevator, fire detection and suppression. The project finished eight weeks ahead of schedule and below budget (approximately $2.1 million) including significant increases to the project scope (i.e., a correction of an existing plaza/planter water infiltration problem).
