Mercy Medical Center - Cancer Center

Providing ample contemporary space to house current technologies and accommodate future growth was the goal of Mercy Medical Center’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Recognizing the project was to be completed in multiple phases, Heery Design laid the groundwork for horizontal and vertical expansions during Phase I.  

The initial 10,400 SF single story structure houses radiation therapy.  A sub-waiting area for gowned patients provides peaceful views of a secret exterior garden.  The design team also made ample use of carpet, wood and lighting to soften spaces for patient comfort.
