Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center

Heery served as Skanska’s commissioning agent for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center’s $20 million expansion program, entailing improvements to the mechanical/electrical infrastructure of the facility.  Heery’s scope of work included design/construction drawings and specification review, site coordination and inspection, commissioning of the new Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, chiller and medical gas alarm system. In addition, Heery’s commissioning team executed a commissioning planning exercise to assist Kaiser’s own engineering staff in understanding the operational procedures of the new and larger capacity plant and HVAC systems. The project started in September 2004 and was completed in summer 2008.
