Intel Fort Collins - Design Center

Heery was hired by Intel to lead, coordinate and manage the commissioning effort for the remodel of an existing non-Intel manufacturing facility and turn it into an Intel design and laboratory facility. The building also included a high-power, density data center with a zero downtime requirement.

Heery established the specified commissioning requirements with the contracting team and operations staff, most of whom were unfamiliar or inexperienced with the Intel commissioning process. Initially, commissioning service was utilized to identify the requirements, establish the contractor team interface and to kick off the commissioning effort correctly. One of Heery’s prime roles was to organize and oversee the commissioning team and build the tracking processes and individual equipment documentation packages for the project. Heery provided day-to-day management and guidance to confirm the commissioning process proceeded in a logical progression. The project was completed June 2007.
