Florida DOT - Miami Intermodal Center - Rental Car Center

The Florida Department of Transportation retained Sequeira & Gavarrete, Inc., a Heery International Company, to provide architecture, overall A/E coordination and construction administration services for a new $365 million, 3.4 million SF Consolidated Rental Car Center (RCC) within the Miami Intermodal Center in Miami, Fla.  The RCC offers passengers one location with rapid transportation to and from the airport.  All of the major and a number of smaller rental car companies serving Miami International Airport house their ready return area, fueling, fluid top-off, washing operations and company offices at the facility.  They will share a great lobby space referred to as the Customer Service Lobby, which is approximately 131,000 SF and is located on the fourth floor of the Ready Return Building.  Each floor is about 20 acres in area.
