Cotton Bowl - Renovation and Expansion

Heery was awarded a $45 million design-build renovation contract for work on the historic Cotton Bowl stadium in Dallas. This high profile project included the replacement of 68,000 existing seats and the addition of new seating to reach a stadium capacity of 91,000. Other work included concourse, concession and team facility improvements, as well as new concession and restroom areas and a new media facility. New signage and graphics were also designed and installed. The goal is to address historic landmark requirements while providing the contemporary amenities that enhance game day success. This project represents just one example of how Heery draws on its many in-house areas of expertise to deliver a project - with program management by Heery-Dallas, Heery-Atlanta performing the sports design and construction management by Charter Builders, a Balfour Beatty company.
