Bainbridge Township Police Dept.

Bainbridge, Ohio

Bainbridge Township, located about 20 miles east of Cleveland, has seen its police force grow significantly since it was established in 1975. The police department’s 18 full-time and four part-time officers now have a new police station designed to serve the departments needs for the next 25 years.

Heery International acted as owners representative throughout construction to monitor the project on behalf of the Township. The new 25,000 SF facility features a state-of-the-art communications center, including a 911 call center serving all police, fire, and rescue services within Bainbridge Township, expanded evidence-processing rooms, holding cells, a five-bay shooting range, and a physical fitness center. A records room provides easy access to four years of police reports. With the increase in investigative work, especially involving fraud and identity-theft cases, more space has been provided for the departments growing detective and investigative units.

The project opened on schedule and budget in August 2004
